Style Icon ~ Stevie Nicks

In a flurry of lace, billowing skirts, and long blonde hair she emerges onto the stage; the epitome of bohemian mystique, clad in suede platform boots.

Singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks, has always been one of my greatest style icons. She simply oozes cool, and has the kickass, velvety voice to match.

Throughout her music career, including both her work with Fleetwood Mac and her solo career, she has always maintained her signature bohemian style. Designer and stylist Margi Kent, designed many of Nicks' stage ensembles, some of which are now displayed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Now not all of are fortunate enough to have our own personal stylist, or feel the need to rob a museum, thus in order to capture Stevie's style we have to get creative. Below are inspiration pictures I use to capture her feminine, bohemian style. When drawing inspiration from her style, I always remember her view that "sexy is keeping yourself mysterious", and in order to be sexy you don't always need to show too much skin.
